although this controller is not the most comfortable to play with it is classic atari. i never owned an original atari 7800 when i was a kid. i just recently got one in a used game store and got some additional controllers to have as it uses these and is original to the system. if you plan to own an atari 7800 you will need to have this controller to play certain games (i.e. Scrapyard dog) but for the most part you an use a standard 2600 controller. i personally liked this controller its interesting and its part of classic gaming that time forgot. -- not the best, but its classic atari
